1. What we set
ScreenAssist uses cookies and browser storage in two categories: strictly necessary items required to operate the Service, and optional analytics, session recording, error reporting, performance metrics, heatmaps and surveys that we only load after you accept them on the cookie banner. All optional items are provided by PostHog. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
2. The cookies and storage we set

3. Local storage
The Supabase client may also persist auth state in browser localStorage for the same purpose as the session cookie above.
4. Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off because the Service does not work without them. Analytics cookies are off by default and are only set after you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the screenassist_cookie_consent_v1entry from your browser’s local storage (the banner will reappear on the next page load), or by clearing site data entirely from your browser settings. Clearing site data will also sign you out and clear any active share-link session.
